Nigel Farage has hit out at the mainstream media in a fresh defence of Reform UK, as the party's exit poll rating has predicted a win of over 10 seats.
Farage's party has been projected to secure 13 seats as a result of Thursday's General Election, with the Conservatives set to be wiped out in a landslide 450 seat victory for Labour.
Hailing the latest results from the north of England, which places Reform with 30 per cent of the overall vote share, Farage praised the party's early success and admitted it was "way more than any possible prediction or projection" previously put forward ahead of the election.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Farage spoke out to his supporters who turned out to vote for Reform, and said it was "almost unbelievable" to see both the exit poll result and the first two outcomes from the north-east of the country.
Remaining defiant of his party, Farage told supporters: "It's midnight. There were two results in from the north east of England that put Reform on 30 per cent of the vote.
"That is way more than any possible prediction or projection. It's almost unbelievable."
Maintaining optimism for the rest of the election's results, Farage said the start of Reform's success means the party is set to win "many seats" and "millions of votes".
He claimed: "What does it mean? It means we're going to win seats, many, many seats, I think right now across the country."
However, Farage also took aim at the "mainstream media" for their lack of coverage of Reform UK representatives, as the election results begin to roll in.
Blasting the "almost comical" snub of Reform, Farage fumed: "But to watch the TV coverage, it's almost comical.
"There's not a single representative on there from Reform UK.
"Mainstream media are in denial just as much as our political parties. This is going to be six million votes plus. This folks, is huge."
Responding to Farage's post on X, Reform supporters hailed the incoming results from across the country and affirmed how "huge" the election is going to be for the party leader.
One X user said: "We’ve got the momentum to change British politics forever!!"Another Reform supporter told Farage: "Can’t believe what I’m seeing - this is incredible."
Noting the constituencies in which Reform won second place in the election results, one X user declared: "Well done everyone who stood.
"We are making change!!! Roll on the swing to second place."
