Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has hit out at the club over his treatment suggesting his time at Anfield may be coming to an end.

The 33 year old Egyptian told reporters after Saturday’s 3-3 Premier League draw with Leeds United that he felt he had been “thrown under the bus” and unfairly made a scapegoat for Liverpool’s slow start to the season.

“I’m very very disappointed,” Salah said. “I have done so much for this club and it seems like the club is throwing me under the bus. Someone wants me to get all the blame.” He also criticized the club over promises made in the summer that in his view have yet to be fulfilled.

Salah an icon at Liverpool with eight years at the club two Premier League titles and 250 goals in all competitions has recently found himself on the bench playing only 45 minutes across the last three games.

With Liverpool preparing for a crucial Champions League clash against Inter Milan on Tuesday followed by a Premier League meeting with Brighton the coming matches could signal the end of Salah’s storied spell at Merseyside.
