The Taliban’s spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, has once again resorted to deception & propaganda attempting to portray Pakistan’s legitimate concerns as baseless while shielding terrorist elements thriving under the Afghan Taliban’s protection.
His statements about migrant families & TTP as Pakistan’s internal problem are nothing but desperate attempts to distort ground realities & mislead the global community.
Contrary to Zabiullah’s claim, no ordinary Pakistani families migrated to Afghanistan. The individuals who crossed the border were TTP & BLA terrorists, not civilians.
Taliban leadership’s land & settlement support was, in reality, an organised resettlement program for these outlawed groups, disguised as humanitarian assistance.
The Taliban are using this facade to hoodwink the world & gain sympathy while allowing internationally designated terrorists to regroup freely.
Zabiullah’s assertion that the TTP issue is Pakistan’s internal problem is not only misleading but self contradictory.
The Taliban’s own General Directorate of Intelligence GDI has frequently announced operations against ISIS and other outfits in Nangarhar, Kunar & Kabul between 2023 & 2025, confirming their limited control over Afghan territory.
If the TTP were truly Pakistan’s internal concern, its top commanders would not be operating & getting killed in Afghan provinces such as Kunar, Nangarhar & Paktika, all under Kabul’s supposed governance.
Multiple credible international sources, including the United Nations, US State Department & independent monitoring groups, have documented the Taliban’s complicity.
The UN reports confirm the presence of Al-Qaeda training camps & TTP bases across Ghazni, Helmand, Kandahar, Kunar, Uruzgan & Zabul.
The 36th UN Monitoring Report 2025 clearly states that TTP maintains around 6,000 fighters in Afghanistan & operates joint training facilities with Al-Qaeda.
Further evidence comes from intelligence assessments revealing that TTP chief Noor Wali Mehsud resides in Kabul, receiving a monthly stipend of USD 43,000 from Taliban authorities.
The CIA has also confirmed the presence of Al-Qaeda leaders, including Hamza bin Laden, inside Afghanistan.
The killing of Ayman al Zawahiri on 31st July 2022 in a Taliban-protected compound in Kabul’s Sherpur area serves as irrefutable proof of Taliban’s direct sheltering of global terrorists.
Saif al-Adl & Hamza bin Laden, they both now carry the weight of a coming storm, are systematically recasting Afghanistan into the operational heart of al-Qaeda’s next chapter.
Where Ayman al-Zawahiri led through ideology, Adl & Hamza lead through action. Together, they have unified the Taliban, the Haqqani Network, TTP, BLA, BLF & remnants of ISIS affiliates under one command structure disciplined, coordinated & focused.
Meanwhile, the Taliban’s attempt to deflect blame for Pakistan’s deteriorating security situation collapses under statistical evidence.
Since the Taliban’s takeover in August 2021, Pakistan has witnessed a dramatic surge in terrorist incidents 207 attacks in 2021, 262 in 2022, 306 in 2023 & a staggering 1,099 in 2024.
Pakistani intelligence has identified 58 terrorist camps & staging posts of TTP & BLA inside Afghanistan, operating with Kabul’s full knowledge.
From June 2025 alone, approximately 172 formations (4,000 militants) infiltrated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Afghan soil, marking a 36% rise in groups and 48% increase in manpower.
Between April & September 2025, Pakistan’s forces neutralised 135 Afghan nationals in counterterrorism operations, bringing the total to 267 killed Afghan nationals in KP & Balochistan.
Afghan nationals were directly involved in suicide bombings in Peshawar, Bannu, Besham, Mir Ali & D.I. Khan, causing numerous civilian and security casualties.
Pakistan’s stance remains clear & justified apprehend & hand over the terrorists and their leaders. Instead of fabricating stories & playing the victim, the Taliban regime must fulfill its international obligations & prevent Afghan soil from being used as a launchpad for terrorism against Pakistan.
Zabiullah Mujahid’s statements are nothing but hollow rhetoric, exposing the Taliban’s duplicity & their continued alliance with transnational terrorist networks.
