Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has openly defied US President Donald Trump’s threat to launch repeat strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, vowing that Tehran will rebuild every damaged facility & continue its atomic program with greater strength & determination.
The bold statement comes after the US & Israeli forces jointly struck 4 nuclear sites in June, including the Natanz uranium enrichment complex & Isfahan nuclear power plant, key components of Iran’s energy infrastructure. Trump had warned that any attempt to rebuild would be met with swift & decisive military action.
However, President Pezeshkian, during his visit to Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation, declared that no amount of bombing or pressure can set Iran back. Destroying buildings & factories will not create a problem for us. We will rebuild & with greater strength.
Pezeshkian also reiterated that Iran’s nuclear ambitions remain strictly civilian, aimed at advancing medical research, energy & national development not weaponisation. “Our efforts are for the people for their health, for science, for progress. We have no nuclear weapons program,” he emphasised in a video message released on social media.
Tehran’s stance marks another escalation in the decades long confrontation between Iran & the West, a rivalry rooted in distrust and power politics. Despite repeated US & Israeli sabotage operations, Iran’s nuclear program has survived, adapted & advanced, becoming a symbol of national pride & resistance.
