Cyber attackers have caused disruption at 20 UK railway stations.
Network Rail confirmed that the wi-fi systems at stations including London Euston, Manchester Piccadilly, Liverpool Lime Street and Birmingham New Street were affected.
The Manchester Evening News reported people logging onto the wi-fi at the stations were met with a screen that detailed previous terrorist attacks in Europe.
A Network Rail spokeswoman said: "We are currently dealing with a cyber security incident affecting the public Wi-Fi at Network Rail’s managed stations."
