Humanitarian aid teams have reached Al-Firdaws camp in Yemen, where displaced families are facing increasingly difficult living conditions amid renewed fighting across the country.
The camp in Aden is home to people displaced from areas including Yemen’s western coast and Taiz, many of whom have been forced from their homes by years of conflict and recent violence.

The humanitarian situation has deteriorated sharply as renewed fighting has forced more than 100,000 people from their homes in recent weeks, according to the United Nations.
Across Yemen, more than 22 million people are expected to need humanitarian assistance this year, including millions of internally displaced people.
Food insecurity is also severe, with about 18.3 million people facing acute hunger and more than 2.2 million children under five suffering from acute malnutrition.
Health services are under intense pressure, while shortages of clean water and sanitation increase the risk of disease outbreaks.
Aid agencies say funding shortages and insecurity are making it increasingly difficult to reach vulnerable communities.
