Russian drones have struck a warehouse outside Kyiv as Ukraine’s capital faces another day of near-continuous attacks. Footage from the scene shows firefighters battling flames and working through the smouldering remains after the strike.
The latest attack comes after days of repeated Russian drone raids across Kyiv and surrounding areas, disrupting transport, businesses and everyday life. Residents have been forced to take shelter as attacks continue during both daytime and overnight hours.
The renewed strikes come as Russia and Ukraine remain deeply divided over how to end the war. Despite ongoing diplomatic efforts, there is still no clear agreement on the key conditions for a peace settlement.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to travel to Russia and Ukraine in the coming days as Washington pushes for progress toward ending the conflict.
Russian state media reported that the envoys could visit Moscow and Kyiv over the weekend, although the Kremlin has not confirmed the schedule. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he expects talks with the American representatives.
For now, however, diplomacy is unfolding alongside continued attacks. With drones still striking targets around Kyiv and negotiations facing major obstacles, hopes for a breakthrough remain uncertain as the war continues.
