Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators have marched silently through the streets of Paris, carrying Palestinian flags, photographs of victims, and symbolic coffins in a show of solidarity with people in Gaza.
The demonstration focused on the humanitarian situation in the territory, with organizers highlighting the recent burial of 112 people whose remains were recovered from beneath the rubble of homes destroyed during the Gaza war.
The victims were members of the Al-Hassayna and Abu Sharia families, and the recovery operation took 17 days as civil defense teams searched through the ruins. Palestinian officials said the recovered remains included women and children, while many others remain missing beneath the rubble.
During the Paris march, protesters also called for the release of Palestinian prisoners and raised concerns about journalists killed while covering the conflict.
Speakers at the demonstration criticized Israel's military campaign in Gaza and called for greater international pressure to protect civilians and support Palestinian rights.
The march comes as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza remains severe and ceasefire efforts continue to face challenges.
For demonstrators in Paris, the silent procession was intended to draw attention to the human cost of the conflict and keep Gaza at the center of international debate.
