Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, has warned that U.S. forces stationed across the Gulf will continue to face attacks, describing the American military presence as an "occupying force" in the region.
In a statement, the IRGC said it would continue what it called its resistance operations, warning that any further U.S. military action would be met with a stronger response. Iranian officials also accused Washington of expanding its military footprint across the Gulf and increasing regional instability.
The warning comes amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington, following weeks of military exchanges involving strikes on Iranian targets and attacks linked to Iran-backed groups operating across the Middle East.
The United States has continued reinforcing its military presence in the region, with additional forces deployed to protect American personnel, strategic bases, and commercial shipping routes, including the Strait of Hormuz.
Military analysts warn that continued threats and retaliatory actions by both sides could further increase the risk of confrontation across the Gulf, placing regional security and global energy supplies under renewed pressure.
Despite ongoing diplomatic efforts by regional mediators, tensions remain high as both Iran and the United States maintain firm positions, leaving uncertainty over whether the crisis will move toward de-escalation or a broader regional conflict.
