U.S. Vice President JD Vance has confirmed that the 60-day negotiating window outlined in the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran officially began today, setting a mid-August deadline for reaching a permanent agreement.
According to Vance, the implementation phase is now underway following the signing of the initial deal, with both sides expected to negotiate the remaining issues over the coming weeks.
