PM Shehbaz Arrives in Antalya for Diplomacy Forum

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Antalya on the third leg of his tri-nation tour, after concluding key visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as Pakistan continues to intensify its diplomatic outreach amid rising regional tensions. The prime minister was received at the airport by Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye Yousuf Junaid and other senior officials.


During his visit, the prime minister will participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he is expected to engage with global leaders and present Pakistan’s perspective on regional peace, stability, and international cooperation. The forum comes at a critical time, with ongoing tensions in the Middle East and Pakistan playing an active role in diplomatic efforts.


Prime Minister Shehbaz is also scheduled to hold a key bilateral meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, where discussions are expected to focus on strengthening strategic ties, expanding economic cooperation, and coordinating on regional security issues.


Senior members of the delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, SAPM Tariq Fatemi, and spokesperson Mosharraf Zaidi, are accompanying the premier, highlighting the importance of the visit.


The Türkiye leg of the tour marks the culmination of Pakistan’s high-level diplomatic engagements across the Gulf and beyond, reinforcing Islamabad’s proactive role in global diplomacy and its commitment to promoting dialogue and stability in a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape.
