Tragedy struck in Iran’s central province of Isfahan as an Iranian Army helicopter crashed into a bustling fruit and vegetable market on Tuesday. The accident claimed the lives of four people the pilot co pilot and two merchants working on the ground.
The helicopter went down in Dorcheh city sparking a fire that emergency crews rushed to extinguish. According to the official IRNA news agency the crash resulted from a technical malfunction though authorities are continuing their investigation.

Just last week Iran’s air force suffered another blow when a US built F‑4 fighter jet crashed during a training flight in Hamadan province killing the pilot. Such repeated tragedies underscore concerns about air safety within Iran’s armed forces.
