U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans to send a “great hospital boat” to Greenland saying the vessel will help “take care of the many people who are sick and not being taken care of there.”
Trump shared the announcement on social media saying he is working with Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry on the mission and that the ship is already “on the way.”
The president did not explain why Greenland needs the hospital boat or specify which ship is being sent when it will arrive or how long it will stay.
