Pakistan Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has accused India of being behind the recent wave of terrorist attacks across Balochistan saying the incidents were part of a coordinated and carefully planned campaign.
Speaking during a joint briefing with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti Naqvi said the attacks were designed to destabilize the province but were successfully foiled due to a swift and effective response by Pakistan’s security forces.
He praised the armed forces and law‑enforcement agencies stating that each attempted attack reflected how security personnel stood firm to defend the country. Naqvi confirmed that none of the attackers managed to escape adding that all militants involved were tracked down and eliminated.
Commending the provincial leadership the interior minister described Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti as a brave and decisive leader saying his front‑line role demonstrated how terrorism could be defeated if more leaders showed similar resolve.
Reiterating his allegations Naqvi said India was not only financing but also planning and directing the attacks in Balochistan. He stressed that Pakistan would not stop at neutralizing the attackers but would also pursue their handlers facilitators and sponsors.
Naqvi further claimed that Pakistan possesses evidence identifying those directing the terrorists including the locations from where operations were coordinated. He said this information would be shared internationally to expose those who present themselves as peaceful actors while secretly backing terrorism.
Concluding his remarks Naqvi said Pakistan would confront terrorism with unity and determination adding that India’s alleged involvement would be exposed before the world.
