Chief of the Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army remains fully committed to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty territorial integrity and internal stability.
During his visit to Lahore Garrison the Army Chief was briefed on operational preparedness ongoing training initiatives and measures aimed at enhancing combat readiness. He witnessed a specialized field training exercise reflecting the Army’s focus on modern warfare techniques and the integration of advanced technologies to meet emerging challenges.
Field Marshal Munir also inspected sports and recreational facilities for troops stressing the importance of physical fitness morale and overall well-being in maintaining a professional fighting force.
Later he visited the Combined Military Hospital in Lahore and reviewed a High Care Centre commending the medical staff for providing state-of-the-art healthcare facilities to soldiers.
Addressing senior officers the Army Chief reiterated a zero-tolerance policy toward any threat to national security and emphasized professionalism discipline and unwavering resolve.
He said the Pakistan Army will continue to stand firm united and prepared to defend the nation against all internal and external challenges.
