The Pakistan Navy has once again demonstrated its combat readiness through a live weapon firing exercise in the North Arabian Sea the military’s media wing ISPR confirmed.
During the exercise a Pakistan Navy ship successfully engaged highly manoeuvrable aerial targets using the FM 90(N) ER surface to air missile. The drill was closely monitored by Commander Pakistan Fleet Rear Admiral Abdul Munib who praised the professionalism dedication and operational competence of all officers and sailors involved. He reiterated the Navy’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s maritime borders and national interests under all circumstances.
This exercise follows a series of recent capability enhancing drills. Last month the Navy conducted a successful test flight of an indigenously developed ship launched anti ship ballistic missile a highly advanced system capable of striking both sea and land targets with precision. The missile features state of the art guidance technology and enhanced manoeuvrability enabling it to perform effectively in complex operational environments.
Meanwhile the Pakistan Army also showcased its growing indigenous capabilities conducting a training launch of the Fatah 4 ground launched cruise missile capable of reaching targets up to 750 kilometres away. Equipped with advanced avionics and terrain hugging navigation this system is designed to evade enemy missile defences while striking targets with high accuracy.
These exercises highlight Pakistan’s continuous efforts to strengthen its defensive and offensive capabilities ensuring readiness to respond effectively to any threats.
